These mountains are where the classical Chinese landscape painters have gone for inspiration for more than a thousand years. After long study, I have adapted their ways of seeing and the structure of their images to digital photography. Emptiness, mountains, water, reciprocal becoming -- these are where the classical image-maker finds the chi of this magical place.
